An arrest has been made after an inappropriate incident allegedly occurred between an inmate of the Tehama County Juvenile Hall and an employee of an outside agency. The prisoner is a young adult being held in the facility. Staff became aware of the incident last week. The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office investigated and the suspect was arrested Saturday. The Probation Department has a rigorous background screening process for anyone entering the facility, but they’ll examine whether the security protocol should be tightened.
