Crews have achieved 55% containment on the Park Fire, which has burned 429,400 acres. All evacuation orders have been lifted, though some evacuation warnings remain in effect for Tehama County, mostly in the Mill Creek area. Interior islands of unburned vegetation continues to flare up within control lines. Crews continue to patrol for hot spots and work on mop up. There are 4,156 personnel on scene. 637 structures have been confirmed destroyed. There have still been no fatalities or injuries due to the Park Fire. Significant cleanup awaits crews as more than 1.5 Million Feet of fire hose has already been collected from the Park Fire zone, and much more remains to be gathered. That’s enough hose to stretch from Red Bluff to Fresno.
