Adoption costs at Haven Humane Society are covered by the Bissell Pet Foundation for the next couple of weeks. The “Empty the Shelters” adoption event takes place at more than 400 shelters in 43 states. The program funded by the manufacturer of Bissell carpet cleaners has led to the adoption of hundreds of thousands of pets. At Haven Humane Society costs are being completely covered by Bissell for any pet adopted through May 15th. The only thing that adopters need to pay for is the license fee. Many of the animals available at Haven can be previewed at havenhumane.org or on their Facebook Page. Appointments to go find a new best friend can be made by calling 241-1653.
