Police: Drunk Driver Crashes Into Red Bluff CHP Office

An allegedly drunk driver could hardly have chosen a worse place to crash his pickup early Sunday morning. At 3:30AM Red Bluff Police were called to the CHP Office on Main Street in Red Bluff. A pickup truck had crashed right in front of the facility and the driver, 37-year-old Samuel Segura, was still on scene. Officers thought he appeared to be drunk, and they learned his driver’s license was suspended due to a DUI in January. He was tested and reportedly had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit, so he was booked into Tehama County Jail.
