Police say a man from Westwood fired a gun in Red Bluff City Park, but they don’t know why. Friday afternoon responding officers stopped 38-year-old Joshua Wilson walking on South Main Street away from the park because he matched witness descriptions. As officers approached Wilson they say he pulled a pistol from his waistband and threw it to the ground. Police say they have found no witnesses and they don’t know why Wilson was shooting.
