Probation Officers Recover Stolen Property, Seize Guns & Ammunition In Tehama County

Tehama County Probation Officers have made several busts in the past week as a result of compliance checks. A check of the home of a person on Post Release Supervision in the Gerber area on Friday led to the seizure of a stolen dirt bike and a disassembled butane honey oil lab. The dirt bike was returned to its owner. Also on Friday, probation officers searched a home in the Corning area while the residents on probation were away. They found a loaded shotgun, two loaded Winchester 22 caliber rifles, and more than 500 rounds of ammunition. The probationer was later found and arrested.
