A Redding man was arrested with a couple of dozen guns during a probation compliance sweep by Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies and Probation Officers on Monday. 42-year-old Kevin Humphreys is on probation for a police chase and vehicle theft, and had an active felony warrant. A search of his Gaucho Road home reportedly turned up a lot of ammunition along with 24 shotguns and rifles, some of them considered illegal assault weapons in California.
