PSPS Event Underway, PG&E Lowers Number Of Affected Customers

PG&E did a partial Public Safety Power Shutoff that started Thursday night, but not all planned areas had strong enough winds to justify it, according to the utility. At 11:45PM Thursday night, about 1,100 customers were shut off in Tehama County concentrated in Rancho Tehama and Flournoy. 40 of those customers lost power unintentionally. Restoration will be done after lines are inspected for damage. Details about specific addresses can be found at pge.com/pspupdates.
