Rally Planned For Monday Ahead Of Court Appearance For Missing Woman’s Husband

Family and friends of a missing Shasta County mother of 4 are organizing a rally for Monday morning in front of the courthouse. Rewards of up to $30,000 are available for tips concerning 39-year-old Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain, whose last known sighting was May 17th. Her truck was found abandoned in Western Tehama County shortly after her disappearance. Nikki is 5-feet-tall and 100 pounds and has a floral tattoo on her left forearm. Her husband, Tyler McCain, had faced felony domestic violence charges but the case was dismissed in July because the only witness for the prosecution was Nikki. Also in July, Tyler was cited for starting a 98 acre fire at the family’s home in Olinda by parking a car in dry grass, which was ignited by the hot tailpipe. Tyler McCain is the only person of interest for sheriff’s detectives investigating Nikki’s disappearance. He’ll have a court appearance on Monday. Some of Nikki’s supporters will gather in front of the courthouse at 8:30AM Monday.
