Red Bluff Man Sent to Prison After Blowing Probation

A car and motorcycle thief from Red Bluff will go to prison after failing his probation in Tehama County. 22-year-old Robert Lee Spoonemore was arrested last year. He stole a truck out of someone’s garage, then led a deputy on a high speed chase that ended when Spoonemore wrecked the truck. Another time, a CHP officer saw Spoonemore pushing a motorcycle down the street at 4:30am and discovered Spoonemore had outstanding warrants and the motorcycle had just been stolen. While he was in jail following that arrest, the CHP got a tip that Spoonemore had stolen two other motorcycles from a different victim. In March Spoonemore was given a 4 year prison sentence which was suspended on condition of 2 years probation. In September he violated probation by testing positive to methamphetamine, so he’ll now have to serve his 4 year prison term
