Some members of the vigilante anti-pedophile group “Dads Against Predators” have been charged with the assault of one of their targets, according to police reports and court filings dug up by KRCR. Keaghen Rivers had reportedly been contacted on social media by Kasey O’Donnell, who was posing as a 15-year-old boy to lure child sexual predators. Police say that on August 16th O’Donnell and other D.A.P. members David Zimmerman and Syrus Durant arrived at Caldwell Park, where Rivers had agreed to meet for sex with what he thought was the 15-year-old boy. There was a confrontation captured on cell phone video during which the three vigilantes appear to knock Rivers to the ground and gang up on him with punches and kicks. Rivers was hospitalized with serious injuries. He’s been charged with trying to meet a minor for sex, while the three alleged assailants are charges with felony assault. The usual method of operations for the national movement of “Dads Against Predators” is to threaten their targets with law enforcement involvement unless they confess to their intentions on camera, promise not to do it again and submit to being slapped across the face a few times.
