An East Redding elementary school got a bomb threat last week. On Friday administrators at Manzanita School called Redding Police to report getting a threat by e-mail saying there was an explosive device on campus. It did not appear to be a credible threat but out of caution the campus was evacuated as officers did a thorough search. Nothing was found and the school day resumed.
