The Sacramento River, still at flood levels, will be receding considerably in the coming days. After peaking at around 64,000 cubic feet per second, releases from Keswick Dam were reduced on Friday to 40,000 CFS, and Monday morning it’s around 36,000. The Bureau of Reclamation says that by Thursday they’ll be at 20,000 CFS. Lake Shasta is 33 feet from the crest of Shasta Dam.
