Resolution Opposing State Gun Restrictions On Supervisors Agenda

On Tuesday the Shasta County Board of Supervisors will consider a resolution opposing Senate Bill Two, which would place new restrictions on concealed gun permit holders in California. Shasta County Sheriff Michael Johnson says the bill is an unnecessary attack on gun owners and a personal agenda of the Governor and the Attorney General and he says he will not enforce it. The law prohibits guns, even with a permit, in many specific public places.
