A special former member of the Anderson Police Force has passed away. Iro the K9 served with handler Eric Haynes for 7 years until his retirement in June of last year. Iro performed many demonstrations at schools and other places, and his friendly disposition allowed a lot of interaction with the public. Iro died last Tuesday.
