An East Redding home was damaged by fire Monday night. Redding Fire Department was called to a house on Soda Springs Circle, which is off Somerset Avenue in the Victor Avenue neighborhood south of Hartnell. Crews found the garage to be well involved in fire. The garage was gutted but a quick and aggressive response prevented fire damage to the rest of the house. Smoke damage, however, was extensive.
