Redding’s biggest bookstore will reopen in a new location on Wednesday. Barnes and Noble outgrew it’s previous location off Churn Creek Road near FoodMaxx. It now occupies the space that formerly housed Bed, Bath and Beyond off Hilltop Drive. The official ribbon cutting is at 9 O’clock Wednesday morning. The ceremony will be led by Kris Valloton, a pastor at Bethel Church who has written several books. The CEO of Barnes and Noble says the expansion of the Redding store is a perfect example of the turnaround in brick-and-mortar bookselling.
