Undercover Redding Police Officers have made some retail theft arrests. County Probation and State Parole assisted in the operation. Police say thieves have targeted the new Barnes and Noble on Hilltop Drive, stealing Thousands of Dollars worth of Legos. The undercover team also focused on JCPenney, other Mount Shasta Mall stores, and both Safeway stores. Four arrests were made, one for petty theft at Barnes and Noble, one for petty theft at the East Cypress Safeway and two people, Michelle Carroll and Marion Williams, were arrested for grand theft at JCPenney.
