Redding Police say they found a Fentanyl dealer during a sweep of homeless encampments Thursday morning. The RPD Bike Team contacted 35-year-old Theodore Drach and learned he was on Post Release Supervision so they searched his camp, reportedly finding more than 5 Ounces of Fentanyl. The Bike Team also contacted Rodney Mitchell, who had an outstanding parole warrant. He had been linked to the theft of a Honda Civic on July 20th from his neighbors at the California Street Apartments, as well as the theft of a Jeep Cherokee on Tuesday. Mitchell reportedly told officers he abandoned it in the Bevmo parking lot.
