A pedestrian was killed on Highway 273 in South Redding Thursday night. The unidentified male pedestrian was struck by a southbound Dodge minivan between Branstetter Lane and South Bonnyview road at around 9 O’clock. CRR was attempted but the injured man could not be revived and was declared dead at the scene. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
