RPD: Election Night Gunshots Leads To Arrest In West Redding

It’s not known if he was celebrating the results of the election, but an intoxicated man was arrested after repeatedly firing a Shotgun in front of his West Redding home, according to Redding Police. At 10:30PM Tuesday night officers were called to a house on Wisconsin Avenue. Because of the shots, they used their armored vehicle and contacted 40-year-old Ryan Dickey. A search warrant was served and officers found and seized several Shotguns, Rifles and Pistols from inside the house. Dickey was booked into jail for negligent discharge.
