Redding Police helped state parole agents in a series of compliance checks Thursday. Once a month the RPD has an overlap day when many officers must attend training and the field operations division has a surplus of staff. Those officers joined parole agents to check on some parolees being monitored with GPS ankle bracelets. Six individuals were contacted and three were arrested for being in violation of their parole. One was cited for a misdemeanor.
