A man who’s not supposed to have a gun due to prior felony convictions has been arrested by Redding Police. At almost 11:30PM Tuesday night a woman called police because she saw a posting online for a bicycle that believed had been stolen from her father. Officers responded to a travel trailer on Radio Lane, which is the home of 61-year-old Glen Stevenson. He reportedly gave consent for the officers to look inside the trailer and check for the bicycle. They apparently didn’t find the bike, but they saw a 12-gauge shotgun sitting in plain view on a bed. It had one live round in the chamber. Police say the gun had been reported stolen in Redding. Stevenson was booked into jail.
