RPD: Man Found With Over 3000 Xanax Pills Arrested After NPU Investigation

An alleged drug dealer has been arrested by Redding Police for the second time in 11 days. On January 20th officers were called to a Hartnell Avenue Circle K because 28-year-old Royce Harrison was passed out and unresponsive in his car. Police say he had a loaded pistol on the seat next to him and had around 3,000 Xanax pills weighing nearly 2 Pounds, along with an Ounce of Cocaine and a loaded rifle magazine. Harrison’s prior record forbids him from possessing a gun. He appeared to be overdosing so he was medically cleared before being booked into jail, and later released. On Wednesday the Neighborhood Police Unit showed up with a search warrant at Harrison’s home off Twin View Boulevard. They reported finding another large quantity of Xanax pills and evidence of sales. He was again booked into jail, but Thursday morning he’s not listed as being in custody.
