A Modoc County man was arrested overnight while loitering near the Sacramento River Trail. Just before Midnight an RPD Officer noticed a Dodge pickup at the Diestelhorst Trailhead parking lot off Court Street. He spoke with 26-year-old Clifford Hildbrand, who was sitting in the truck along with 36-year-old Jessy Hernandez of Redding. They apparently admitted that they had drug paraphernalia, so the truck was searched. Officers reported finding a 12 gauge shotgun, which Hildbrand is forbidden from possessing due to prior felony convictions. Officers also reported finding Methamphetamine and a pipe.
