Redding Police believe they likely prevented an armed robbery with the arrest of a man behind a convenience store. At 11 O’clock Saturday night an officer noticed a car parked in the shadows behind Fast Track Food and Fuel on Old Oregon Trail. It was occupied by 47-year-old Donald Harrison of Anderson, who has a long criminal record including multiple robbery convictions. A search of the car reportedly revealed a loaded sawed-off shotgun in a case with a pair of gloves. Harrison was booked into jail.
