Redding Police say they caught a man vandalizing a Redding Electric Utility box. Just before 10 O’clock Saturday morning, an RPD Officer saw 35-year-old Nicholas Minks off Mistletoe Lane near Hilltop Drive, and he appeared to be hiding behind an REU box. He had reportedly been in the act of damaging the box. Minks, who’s on parole, was booked into jail for felony vandalism. He’s being held without bail for the parole violation.
