The Redding Rodeo kicks off Wednesday night, and some traffic restrictions will be in place to try and keep things flowing smoothly. The most significant change is that the offramp from Westbound Highway 44 will close each night through Saturday at 6:15PM. Redding Police suggest showing up early or sharing a ride. Also, Turtle Bay’s lantern show “Glowing Wild” at the McConnell Arboretum across the river will be suspended for a few days because rodeo fans will be using all the parking. It resumes on Sunday and runs Wednesday through Sunday of next week.
