The Redding Police Department has released the results of a sobriety and drivers license checkpoint they conducted last Thursday night. The checkpoint was set up in the eastbound lanes of Hartnell Avenue between Churn Creek Road and Victor Avenue. Between 6PM and Midnight 683 vehicles passed through and every driver was screened. One arrest was made for driving under the influence. Five drivers were cited for driving on a suspended license and three were cited for driving with no license.
