Summer vacation is over and children are back in school, so drivers need to be watchful. Redding Police are stepping up enforcement of school zone speed limits, which are 25 miles an hour when children are present. Also, when red lights are flashing on a school bus, that means stop until they’re not flashing anymore. That even applies to drivers coming from the other direction unless it’s a divided roadway with a physical barrier in the center.
