A traffic stop led to a drug bust in East Redding Monday night. 59-year-old Jeffrey Longmire was pulled over by the RPD on Loma Vista Drive, and as the officer approached the open driver’s window of the Mercedes Benz he says he could see Methamphetamine in plain view on the seat. Chase the K9 was brought to the scene and a search was done, reportedly turning up a Half Pound of Meth and a .410 caliber revolver loaded with slugs that apparently had been stolen from Oregon. Longmire was booked into jail on a number of charges.
