The Redding Police Bike Team recovered several stolen antique heirloom pocket watches when they searched a downtown apartment Wednesday morning. Officers were meeting with the managers of the new California Place Apartments on California Street when they were told that a lot of people were seen coming and going from one of the apartments. They also had video surveillance footage showing a tenant breaking into a car in the parking lot, stealing items, then returning to the apartment. Officers went to the apartment and contacted Zackary Miller, a 28-year-old probationer. The stolen goods were reportedly found during a search along with Fentanyl and Methamphetamine. His girlfriend had a felony warrant and they were both arrested.
