RPD: Two Women Arrested After Stealing Jewelry From Macy’s

Two women got away after stealing jewelry from Macy’s Saturday afternoon, according to Redding Police, who say they later caught up to the pair across town. Macy’s security confronted the women as they were leaving and one of them attacked the guard while the other one escaped with the jewelry. Photos of the women and their getaway car were given to Redding Police, who found the car at a Benton Drive apartment. A probation search was done, leading to the arrests of Delaney Murphy and Sherita Evanoff. The merchandise was also reportedly recovered.
