Sacramento River Releases Will Reach 25,000 CFS On Wednesday

There will be another significant increase in the Sacramento River level Wednesday. The Bureau of Reclamation Tuesday boosted releases from 15,000 to 20,000 cubic feet per second. Wednesday it’ll go up to 25,000 CFS. Lake Shasta is currently about 22 feet from the crest of the dam. It’s risen about 30 feet from the start of the year, and it’s about 50 feet higher than the same time last year.
