Search Continues For Missing Chico Women Last Seen July 20th

Two elderly women who were reported missing from Chico a couple of weeks ago have still not been found, and they very likely traveled through Shasta County together, according to a pair of updated Silver Alerts issued by the Chico Area CHP. One was for 84-year-old Dolores Sakamoto. She’s 4-foot-9 and 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The other Silver Alert was for 64-year-old Vivian Luna. She’s 4-foot-10 and 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Both were last seen in Chico on July 20th. Authorities tried to track them by their cell phones, which pinged for the last time on July 23rd near Mount Shasta Ski Park. The women were believed to be driving a black 1996 Lexus ES-300 sedan with plate number 6-K-S-P-0-6-1.
