A man was shot to death Monday morning in Lakehead. Just after 9AM Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Lakeshore Drive near the Lakeshore Villa RV Park, where they found the victim already dead. A person of interest was detained and questioned, though it’s unclear if that person is still in custody. Initial unconfirmed reports by witnesses were that gunfire was exchanged between the two, but no details have yet been released by the Sheriff’s Office.
