SINTF: Man Found With 4 Pounds Of Meth Busted For 3rd Time This Month

A very large quantity of drugs was seized by the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force. At 4 O’clock Friday morning 51-year-old Ryan Lamar Montgomery was stopped by sheriff’s deputies for a violation on Northbound Interstate 5. Ace the K9 alerted to the odor of drugs and the car was searched, allegedly turning up 4.6 Pounds of Methamphetamine and evidence of sales, along with about an Ounce and a Half of Cannabis. This was Montgomery’s third drug related arrest this month. He was arrested January 3rd for possession of Cannabis for sale and January 5th for possession of 10 Ounces of Meth for sale. He’s not currently listed as being in custody at Shasta County Jail.
