Siskiyou Deputies Arrest Los Angeles Man With 26 Pounds Of Coke, 18 Pounds Of Fentanyl

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has reported on a major drug seizure that was made a week ago. Last Tuesday a Sheriff’s Sergeant stopped a car on Northbound Interstate 5 in the Yreka area driven by 37-year-old Jose Felipe Ceyca-Ramirez of Los Angeles. He told the Sergeant he was traveling to Portland and the Sergeant says he asked for permission to search the car. After allegedly getting consent, the Sergeant reported finding a major haul in the trunk that included 26.2 Pounds of Cocaine and 18.5 Pounds of Fentanyl. According to DEA guidelines that’s enough Fentanyl to kill more than 4.2 Million people. Ceyca-Ramirez was booked into jail.
