An event will be held in Redding to teach disaster preparedness to older adults, disabled people and caregivers. Those who attend will learn how to make evacuation plans and connect with local resources when necessary. It’s sponsored by the California Department of Aging and it’s free of charge. It’ll be at the McConnell Foundation at 800 Shasta View Drive on Tuesday September 23rd. Registration can be done through a link on the KQMS Facebook Page.
