Storms Knocks Out Power To Thousands, Floods Roadways Across The Northstate

There are widespread power outages due to the high winds. 140 PG&E customers are without power near Anderson River Park, 40 in Shingletown, 75 a little east of Shingletown, 118 near Whitmore, 228 in the Montgomery Creek area, and around 2,500 in Red Bluff. There are also more concentrated outages scattered throughout Northern California, including many thousands in Butte County.

Widespread flooding is affecting some Northstate roadways. There are multiple closures in Tehama and Glenn Counties. Emily Drive in Anderson is closed between South and Bruce because Anderson Creek has overtaken the roadway.
