The eight semi-final candidates for Shasta County Clerk and Registrar of Voters were on the hot seat Tuesday in front of the Board of Supervisors and the general public. The Supervisors chose four to advance. They are current Acting Registrar Joanna Francescut, along with Thomas Toller, John Gaglione and Clint Curtis. They’ll receive a second grilling Wednesday, followed by a public comment period. The list of candidates, and their submitted applications and resumes, are posted at shastacounty.gov.
