The Shasta County Board of Supervisors will hold an evening meeting on Tuesday, and it may require a great deal of patience for the public to attend. At 5:30PM the board will convene and will almost immediately go into closed session to discuss pending litigation. After that, they’ll rejoin the public to discuss a number of agenda items, including public employee retirement, jail expansion funding, the A.C.I.D. Canal, Health and Human Services funding, a proposal to pitch in to a fund for securing eastbound United Airlines flights from the Redding Airport, a presentation on tourism, and several other items.
