Shasta County Supervisors will revisit a resolution that’s been rejected in the past concerning the Second Amendment to the Constitution. The resolution was last introduced in February, when the board ordered staff to work on revisions and bring it back. It was drafted by the California Rifle and Pistol Association. The revision includes minor rephrasing for actions by the board, saying that they “may” rather than they “shall”. It’s still a highly politically charged document that cites several pro-gun court rulings and includes derisive wording about the Governor and Legislature.
