A 3-year-old child in Chico was almost struck by shots fired into his home. Just after 2AM Monday morning Chico Police were called to Arch Way. Alert neighbors had seen two males running toward East Avenue and officers quickly captured a 14-year-old. A drone was used to find his alleged accomplice, 18-year-old Oscar Sanchez, who had two guns on him, one of them stolen. The victim’s home had multiple bullet holes, including through the front window next to a couch where the young child was sleeping.
