Two Arrested After Deputies Track Stolen Cell Phone To Rancho Tehama Home

Two robbers were thwarted by technology, according to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office. The victim called 911 at 11:40AM Saturday morning and said he was sitting in his car in Rancho Tehama when a man and woman walked up and held him at gunpoint. They took his belongings, including his cellphone, which he was able to track through his service provider to a home on Long Horn Lane. Deputies went to the home and called the number, and could hear the phone ringing inside a pickup truck parked out front belonging to 43-year-old Robert Perozzi. He’s on parole for burglary so the truck was searched and deputies reported finding the victim’s things, as well as a replica gun believed to be used for the robbery. The victim identified Perozzi and 47-year-old Christina Wheeler and they were both arrested for robbery and conspiracy.
