A man from Anderson met with trouble when he tried to sell pot in Red Bluff. On January 24th, the 18-year-old had apparently made a deal via social media and went to meet his customers around Aloha Street and Deborah Drive. He told Red Bluff Police that the suspects got into his car and then pointed guns at him, struck him in the head and face with the guns and stole his Marijuana and his wallet. Police investigated and identified one of the robbers as a 17-year-old boy. On Friday officers arrived at the boy’s Walnut Street home with a search warrant, reportedly finding the boy along with Methamphetamine, a lot of paraphernalia, a shotgun and a flare gun converted to shoot 22 bullets. Police say they found the boy’s mother, Hilary Kennon, in a car smoking Methamphetamine. She reportedly resisted while being handcuffed and while being booked into jail pulled a bag of Fentanyl from her underwear and tried to swallow it. Police are still seeking the other robbery suspects.
