Two Arrested On Thanksgiving After Investigation Into Drug Trafficking

A month-long investigation into alleged Fentanyl trafficking from the Bay Area to Redding ended with two arrests on Thanksgiving Day. Police have been watching 37-year-old Beverly Doty. A little after 1AM Thursday Anderson Police notified Redding Police that Doty’s Subaru had passed through town and was headed north on Interstate Five. She was stopped near Knighton Road and the RPD served a search warrant on the car, reportedly finding a Pound of Fentanyl. Doty and her passenger, Mateo Cordova, were both booked into jail.
