A minor alcohol sting was conducted in Redding Wednesday. Between 4PM and 8PM, Redding Police and State Alcohol Beverage Control did a shoulder tap operation, during which an underage person approaches customers outside liquor and convenience stores and asks them to make a purchase with the decoy’s money. The penalty is a minimum $1,000 fine and 24 hours community service. 2 people agreed to make the buy and were cited.
