Both survivors of a Sacramento crash of a Redding-based medical helicopter are recovering. On October 6th the Reach Air Medical Services helicopter from Redding had delivered a patient to U.C. Davis Medical Center and had just taken off to return to Redding when it crashed on Highway 50. Paramedic Margaret “Dede” Davis and Pilot Chad Millward have now both been released from the hospital and are in inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Flight Nurse Suzie Smith died of her injuries.
