Two men suffered critical burn injuries in a truck fire at a Corning truck stop last week, according to the Corning Observer. Last Tuesday morning Corning Fire Department was called to the Petro Travel Center at South Avenue and Highway 99W. They found a semi truck engulfed in flames and two badly burned. One of them had burns over 90% of his body and the other had burns over 35% of his body. They were both taken away by helicopter and are hospitalized in unknown condition. The men had apparently been working on the truck’s air conditioning system when the fire started.
